🌿 In-Person Sessions at BLISS Meadows: Immerse yourself in the healing energies of nature at a Black-owned farm in east Baltimore. Every Tuesday evening from July 23 to September 10, 2024, join us for 2.5-hour live classes where you'll delve into advanced formulation, hands-on medicine making, and cultural herbalism.

🌿 Hands-On Medicine Making: From cold process soap to savory sauces and beyond, get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into practical medicine-making sessions. Explore the art of crafting herbal remedies that nourish both body and soul.

🌿 Cultural and Community Focus: This course is more than just herbalism—it's a celebration of our community. Through the lens of the Black experience, we'll explore traditional practices, rituals, and recipes that have been passed down through generations. Is this class open to everyone?

Awakening the Roots is exclusive to the BIPOC community. This is a safe-space to unpack the roots of our trauma and create an effective healing balm for wellness and change. 

What is the Cousin System?
The cousin system allows you and a loved one to enroll in the Awakening the Roots Community for a discounted price. Since the class is held in the evening, will there be food available?
Yes, we'll be serving light fare and refreshments at each live class. Upon registration, you'll receive a registration form to complete with a list of allergies. 

Is there parking at the venue?
BLISS Meadows is located in a residential neighborhood with street parking. The location is also accessible by MTA Brown Bus line. Parking is completely free. 

What COVID-19 safety measures are in place for the in-person class? We prioritize the health and safety of our participants. Depending on the current guidelines and recommendations, we may implement measures such as social distancing, mask mandates, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe learning environment. Please stay updated through our communication channels for any specific COVID-19 related instructions.

Registration is non-refundable. Fees may be transferred to products or courses in the event you are unable to attend live classes.
